Introduction
At Jaicom Enterprises, we strive to process and ship your orders as quickly as possible. This policy outlines our shipping methods, costs, and timelines. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Processing time
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped, including a tracking number where applicable.
If we experience a high volume of orders, processing may be delayed by an additional day. In such cases, we will notify you promptly.
Shipping destinations
We currently ship to addresses within Kenya. For deliveries in Nairobi and major towns, we use reliable courier services. For remote areas, delivery times may vary – we will inform you of any expected delays.
Shipping rates & delivery times
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of the items. Below are estimates:
- Nairobi CBD & suburbs: 1 business day — from KES 150
- Other major towns (Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, etc.): 1-2 business days — from KES 400
- Remote/rural areas: 2–3 business days — from KES 500
For large appliances, a specialised courier may be required; additional charges will be communicated before dispatch.
Order tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking link via SMS and email. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking status to update. If you have any concerns about your delivery, contact us with your order number.
Shipping restrictions
Some items (e.g., large kitchen appliances) may require a signature upon delivery. We do not ship to P.O. boxes – please provide a physical street address. Our couriers will attempt delivery up to two times; after that, the package may be returned to us. Return shipping costs will apply for redelivery.
International shipping
At this time, Jaicom Enterprises only ships within Kenya. For international inquiries, please email us to discuss possible arrangements. Additional customs duties and taxes may apply for international orders.
Damaged or lost items
We take great care in packaging your order. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage and the original packaging. We will file a claim with the courier and arrange a replacement or refund.
If your package is lost in transit, we will work with the courier to locate it. If it cannot be found, we will issue a full refund or reship the item at no extra cost.
